Jeanna Heresh has earned two Bachelor’s degrees from Shawnee State University. Her first degree is in Social Sciences and she spent 11 years performing social work duties in the areas of domestic violence, mental health, and child abuse investigations. During that time, she found that she enjoyed the aspects of her occupation that allowed her to work with children and decided to return to Shawnee State University to earn her second Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, graduating in May of 2011.
Jeanna is married to Majdi who is originally from Jordan in the Middle East. They have two children, Leen and Alex. Leen stays busy with school, extracurricular activities, basketball and tennis. Alex is a member of the United States Air Force. Jeanna enjoys traveling, painting, reading books, and spending time with her family. She delights in new experiences and opportunities for growth and learning.
Jeanna first joined the CLC as a student teacher, having the wonderful opportunity to learn from Miss Amanda. Afterward, she stayed on as a teaching assistant in the toddler space. In August 2011, she was hired as a toddler teacher. After two years with the toddlers, she shifted to teaching preschool. She is thrilled to be working with the children of the CLC and helping them to prepare for their lifetime of learning.
