Kenny Livingston returned to the CLC in 2015 after 2 years teaching at Sciotoville Elementary Academy. Kenny has worked with toddlers, preschoolers, kindergarteners, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th graders over the his teaching career and has always loved working with the youngest of these age groups. Kenny feels his calling is working with young learners with their passion, silliness, and love of learning. Kenny hopes to guide and help these young learners at the CLC to grow into responsible, caring, lifelong learners that they deserve to be.
Kenny Livingston has two passions in Teaching. His first is in reading. There is so much that can be achieved through reading and he wants every child to be able to achieve their goals through reading. His second is social emotional health. Kenny has a great passion for helping students be able to self- regulate, manage emotions, cooperate with others, communicate properly, and most importantly help provide healthy attachment to loved ones.
Kenny Livingston has lived in Portsmouth all his life and married his college sweetheart Kristen in 2013. Kristen works as an Early Childhood Mental Health Consultant at Hopewell Health Centers. They do not have any children yet, but have a lovely Maltese named Luke and a Tortoiseshell cat named Sophie. Kenny enjoys spending time with his wife and family, reading, gardening, and traveling.
