Financial Support
The Shawnee State University Development Foundation (SSUDF) was created as a 501(c)(3) organization with the mission of making friends and creating funds and support for Shawnee State University. Charitable gifts are most often made in the form of cash and checks and may be made in one transaction or as a pledge, in several installments. They can even be made via credit card. Cash is the simplest donation and provides immediate benefits.
We appreciate your contribution by personal check, money order, or cashier's check. Checks should be made to the Shawnee State University Development Foundation and can be earmarked for the Children's Learning Center and mailed to:

Please be sure to include your name and address so that we may thank you properly. If you are sending a gift in memory or honor of someone, please include the name and address of the person to which you would like us to send an acknowledgement of your gift.
Donations can also be made via MasterCard, VISA, or Discover. If your donation is $40 or more, you can choose to pay quarterly. If your gift is $120 or more, you can choose to pay monthly. To make your gift by credit card, please call 740.351.3284.

Commemorative Opportunities
We thank you for choosing Shawnee State Children's Leaning Center as a recipient of your generosity, and we are proud to show our appreciation by making commemorative opportunities available.
Naming opportunities in the form of tile in the Children's Learning Center are available for as little as $100, or we invite you to select a room naming opportunity to affirm your partnership with SSU and our students.

Join Hands to Change Our Playground
Shawnee State University and the Children's Learning Center are ever-changing, ever-growing, and ever-improving to meet the needs of our families and the community. A change that has garnered the most suggestions in the suggestion box is the playground, and more specifically the playground surface.
Five years ago, this center was built by "joined hands" across this campus and across our community. This year, Dr. Miller and Genevieve Toombs joined hands with Shawnee State and due to their generosity to the university; the Children's Learning Center now bears their name.
While their name is on the building, Shawnee State University Children's Learning Center belongs to and is loved by us all. Many names are on the Commemorative Tile Mural in the center lobby. Purchasing gift tiles has always been an option through the Shawnee State University Development Foundation. Now would be a great time to "join hands" with us to "change our playground." With your purchase of a tile or tiles, you have the opportunity to build a legacy in two ways. Your tile on the inside will translate into dollars for the playground so it is, in essence, a "2 for 1" opportunity. What a bargain! The name of your family/child/organization/business preserved in a beautiful building, and a mulch free "state-of-the-art" playground, allowing us to serve children and train education, social science, and allied health professionals in new and exciting ways. It doesn't get much better than that!
